Day two of my guitar lesson was
yesterday and I meant to upload this then, but I had spent all night lamenting
about how the Ministry of Education has declared a month-long holiday for schools
and academies ☹! Read this in detail in my diary blog:

Yesterday morning I was five
minutes late to class. Unlike the previous week, there were two other students in
the class. That’s meant that I could hear all three of us strumming, but somehow
I had the ability to focus completely on Vincent and nothing else. One of them
was a little boy around the age of seven or ten learning the same thing I was.
He had a little round white face, thin hair innocently flopping down onto his
forehead and his stubby fingers pressing pink onto the steel strings. The other
boy in the room was around my age or perhaps a few years older. He had a long-pointed
face with a low nose bridge and a thick wild mop of curly hair resting on his
head. He played more chords than I did…I think.
Anyways, I got the one two one
two strumming right and I moved onto one three one three. I got better at it
and undoubtedly, a callus has begun to develop on the index finger on my left
hand. Many would have despised the thought, but for me, I would end this
journey happy even if it means that I end up with highly unattractive, hard,
torn, bruised fingertips. I learned a bit of theory too. I learned the notes on
the lines and the spaces. I listened to him enthusiastically even though I had
already learned them when I learned keyboard. He taught me everything and realized
that he forgot to tell me what a “staff” was. LOL. His emotions, reactions,
expressions and actions basically make him the personification of a meme. He is
a living meme.
That hour came to an end
reaaaaaaaaal fast! And there you have it. My second guitar lesson.
